How to Send Money
Sending cash from an agent location is easy. Just follow these simple steps:
- Go to your nearest Western Union agent location and fill in the ‘To Send Money’ form.
- Give the agent the completed form along with the money you wish to send, the transfer fee and an identification document. (for transactions of £600 and over)
- The agent will enter the information in the computer system or will phone our Contact Centre.
- You will receive your copy of the ‘To Send Money’ form along with a Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN*).
- Call the receiver to tell him/her the amount of money sent and the MTCN*.
